Looking for boys high school Yeshiva which would be beneficial for a boy with ADHD.

Want to hear about shaarei aratzim in Monsey.

Or other ideas?

One concern is how to deal with medicine if dealing with a dorm situation

Interesting. I am slightly familiar with it but wasn’t on the radar at all. What makes it work for someone with ADHD.
Really trying to get away from this sit in class all day model of school

Shaare Arazim is amazing. You must start from 9th grade. I'm sure plenty of kids there are on meds and manage.

Are you willing to send to MTA? The Ptach program there is great.

I have a cousin who entered Shaarei Arazim unable to read and with absolutely no self-esteem and minimal social skills. Within a very short time they made a mentsch out of him. They are miracle workers. We gladly help pay the tuition, it's expensive!!

http://www.ptach.org

In http://www.ptach.org/program-directory/, you want this:

Rabbi Boruch Feder, M.S.
Yeshiva University High School for Boys
2540 Amsterdam Avenue
New York, NY.
(212)960-5203
rabbifeder@yuhsbptach.org

They are very good about listening to who your child is and what he needs, and telling you if they think they can serve him. I don't know if they have an open house- you can go and see, with or without ds. MTA (aka YUHSB) does have an open house that he both he and you can go to if you decide you are interested.
