We want to go to Europe for a week or so. Only adults. What is the best way to plan it without it being too expensive?

Europe is a big place. Do you want to go to one place or travel around?
I would look for cheap flights. Within Europe there are many low cost airlines to get from one place to another or check out trains. Airbnb can be cost effective.
