Hi everyone, does anyone know anything about how to make gadgets (tablets, iphones, etc) more workable for people with visual impairments?
Someone I know is dealing with vision issues and because of that is having a hard time using computers or anything else that needs him to see a screen in order to use it.
For some things he can talk to his phone (siri, I think it's called) but for other things, like checking his email, he usually needs to wait for a family member to check it for him and then read him anything that seems important.
I'm sure there must be another way to do this, as I find it hard to believe that everyone with visual impairments stays away from computers, cell phones, tablets, etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction? TIA
