Can you sum it up? Is it Torah-based psychology? Psychology-based mussar vaad?

I found it to basically be doing inner work on yourself to change your outlook on another person (especially your children) which helps build them and therefore change so much negative in them. Definitely Torah based.

Let's say I am having a very hard time dealing with a certain person. How do I know if I need to work on this with a therapist privately, e.g. in case the stuff is too painful to deal with?

Or would you say it's safe to take this course and somehow I'll be able to deal with whatever comes up?

I am not expecting unremembered trauma to come up, but there's so much baggage I'm just a little scared.

I personally only went to her speech which was about 4-5 hours and focused mostly on your kids. It sounds like maybe you need something more intense and detailed which maybe her course works with? I’ve also don’t the demartini method for these kinds of things with lots of baggage and it was amazing.

I listened to some info, outline of the course, sample etc

You can call this number: 718-305-6524 to hear some things about the course.

I still have my question above - would this help me deal with my wounded inner child & relationship with parents or how would I know if I need to work with a private therapist (which I've tried but not made much progress in this area)?

Anyone who's taken the course and can offer any insight?

Her basis is thinking positive will lead to positive change. She is VERY well backed in all her sources which are coming straight from the Torah. She is very good.

https://yesodhaadam.org/

This link has more info about her course including testimonials. I got an ad from my kids’ school that didn’t give many details, but based on what I read on this site I’m going to try to go. Sorry can’t give you a first hand recommendation since I haven’t gone to it yet!

Can anyone write what they were able to change in their life based on this course? Is it really a cure all?

There's one class being given in Lakewood this Wednesday, and I think one in New York, though I don't remember the details.

I did the workshop. She'll teach you the tools, but you have to do the work.
No more then 5 minutes a day. I would say, go for it.
Remember to take notes of everything she says, then go home and do the work.
At first you'll fell silly/fake, but after a while you'll get used to it.
You should see a gradual improvement after 2 weeks or so.
That was my experience.

Bump, any more reviews? Debating going tonight, is it nice but "fluffy" or will I really come out with something practicable?
