Boys or girls?
Schnitzel is always a hit. I buy the huge chicken breasts and cut them into strips while still defrosting to make fingers.
Deli roll is a treat.
some will eat Chulent.
If it’s girls they may like a salad with grilled chicken on top.
Roasted potatoes are an easy and cheap side.

Look for sole crock pot recipes. It always comes out a lot. I agree potatoes are a great side. So are rice with peas, and fusili pasta with olive oil and salt.
