So my baby figured out how to turn onto his stomach but not back to his back. He keeps turning onto his stomach and getting so frustrated and crying until someone turns him back over and then a minute later he’s on his stomach again. This happens all day and at night when I try to put him to sleep. It used to be so easy to get him to sleep and he was finally starting to sleep longer stretches but now that he keeps turning, I feel like I’m just spinning my wheels. I tried teaching him how to turn back but to no avail. Any tips until we get past this? I have no day or night anymore.

first off this is totally normal just so you know Smile I've had it with each of my 3 kids and it usually only goes on for about a month.
how old is your child and what type of bed does he sleep in (like a cosleeper or full size crib?)

Oh goodness. That was my life for the past few weeks. It'll end eventually but it was so frustrating!

My baby is 4 1/2 months and sleeps in a mini crib.

Will a swaddle stop him from rolling? It worked for my baby

Tummy time can be on top of your tummy while you hold him lying down. My babies loved that . Hope this is helpful.

That sounds dangerous. At the point when babies can roll on to their stomach you should not be swaddling. They need to be unrestricted so that they can easily lift their head.

Agree. Swaddling is dangerous once they can roll.

Have the same thing. BH.
I have no advice. I transfer him from the stroller to the swing then back to the mat where it starts all over again lol. I can't even change his diapers, as soon as put him down he just rolls over.
At night, I sometimes wheel him to sleep in the stroller and then transfer him to his crib. As in the crib he just keeps rolling over and can't fall asleep.

I’m the op. He still doesn’t roll over to his back but he actually started preferring sleeping on his stomach and he probably sleeps better. Also a few days ago he finally started rolling onto his back but only in the crib.
