Best weekday high protein recipes? (preferably with beans/lentils rather than fish/meat)
Totally boxed in on 'protein' meaning red meat and high end fish, which I can't currently afford. What are some more 'vegetarian' or cheap, high protein options
...besides eggs.

I've made brownies with black beans. Google for recipes.
(anon so I don't expose myself. My kids know I do this.)
Quinoa, lentil soup, fish are all great.

Greek yogurts. Flax rollup wraps are also hi in protein. Instead of red meat & fish slices you can do. Chopped liver. Veg liver made from peas. Avocado/egg salad. Mushroom/eggsalad. Falafel balls. Sauteed mixed veg has in it peas & Lima beans. Split pea soup. Sloppy joe with veggies. Peas & carrots. Veg cutlets. Pureed beans with liver. Lox spread, tuna, sardines, canned salmon, herring, frozen tilapia or flounder in bags. Veggie burgers/sandwiches. Hotdogs/pastrami these are all cheaper than red meat or fresh fish

Qunioa has 4 grams of protein and 17 net carbs in half a cup. My nutritionist said it is more of a high carb food than a high protein food. She counts it as a carb.
