I tried getting my 8 year old son speech therapy through getting him evaluated. He wasn’t approved. So now I’m looking to find a therapist myself and pay out of pocket. Do I call an agency or do those therapists only work for the government? I’m not sure how to go about it. My son has trouble with the letter R. I think just a few sessions to teach him how to articulate it would help. Any ideas? Thanks!
