I want to get a 4G phone and don't want to pay monthly filter fees. Just want talk and text. What would be a good option for me.

You can get a kosher phone at a place like DB Electronics or Duddy's but I don't know if it will be 4G though I believe they do make 4G flip phones. Call and ask.

From what I understand kosher phones are only 3G.

There is an free option to completely block the internet. It's only when you want customization that you need to pay.
I can't remember which filter company does it, but if you go to TAG they'll happily do it for you. I've done it myself with old phones and tablets that I wanted to use for kids' mp3 players - I blocked everything except for the music app.

I researched this phone a little, and received conflicting information, based on the article posted above it seems to be internet-free, but then when I looked at the product on B&H's website, someone asked a question if it can connect to the internet and a staff member answered that yes it can connect.
Does anyone have this phone that can tell us about their experience?
