The impression I got from visiting a few times was small close community, verrrry out of town feel, a mix of "types" but pretty charedi, it seems like everyone would know each other. And no lol, if you live in a city like Jerusalem or Beit Shemesh, you most certainly will NOT know everyone and everything about your community members. I live in a town on the outskirts of Jlem and know only my friends and immediate neighbors.
