I have a whole bag of ground nuts based cookies from Pesach. Everybody loved them then but now it is just languishing in my freezer. Any ideas what to do with them besides rum balls?

Not sure what this has to do with school aged children. I personally would serve them as cookies. But you could crush them into crumbs and mix with margarine for a no-bake pie crust or a yes-bake pie crust, or as a topping for ice cream or fruit crumble, or a layer in trifle.
