I sincerely want to understand why people do not vaccinate? I know no one means harm and people are guided by rational thoughts, and want to understand what is driving those who feel strongly that vaccination is wrong.

They believe from the bottom of their heart and mama bear instincts that the statistical harm rates from the vaccines are greater than the statistical harm rates for the diseases in their case. And Their exsist legitamite minority Drs and scientists who hold this view, who they follow. Then they must follow the commandment to guard their health. That's why.

I'll answer for a friend.
She vaccinated her children. Properly . Her baby Chaya* was 6 months old when she received her vaccines.
The next day she found her daughter in her crib. Unresponsive. R"L.
She started researching. Speaking to other moms that lost baby's to 'sids' and came to see that it was not purely coincidental.

She stopped vaccinating. For Her , I understand it is the right hishtadlus.
She quite obviously sees the pros in her favor not to vaccinate.

Another friend of mine had her 1 yr old baby turn blue and stop breathing when she got home from the Dr.
She also did research- not because she's a bad person. But because she was thrown into this life threatening situation. It made her re-evaluate.

So ppl. Pls stop yelling. Kids that are not vaccinated don't walk around carrying diseases.
I'm speaking for my friends.
I also have plenty that do vaccinate.

I do. At a slower pace.

But to each their own.
Stop yelling. Be nice. Do your research on both ends- extensively , as I've done- and then these ppl (that shy away- because some of you are yelling and cursing-yikes.) Will come out. And speak to you. Like mature adults.

I value your decision . We ultimately all want what's best for our children. And others.
May hk"bh protect all of his children.
The vaxxed. The anti vaxx . The unfortunately cant vaxx. And all the in betweens.

Probably DPT but now, due to the epidemic, babies can take a dose of MMR at 6 months and get 2 more doses later.

They believe from the bottom of their heart that their kid is gonna be that rare rare case that has a side effect from vaccine.
I'm not making fun btw. for all I care do Igg, iga, mitochondrial, hyprochondriacs etc testing before to make sure your child will tolerate the vaccine.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Very Happy

In the US babies are reccommended to get vaccinated starting at 2 months (rv, dtp, hib etc.).

A friend's baby got a stroke in one eye the day she vaccinated. She was afraid to vaccinate so she waited until her baby was a year old for her first dose. Another baby I know started having seizures the week she got her first dose. (again over the age of 1) Generally reactions to vaccines are more visible when a child is older vs. infant. Say a 2 month old had a stroke in the eye it would most likely go unnoticed at first.

For alot of these people, correlation = causation in their minds.

For some, it could be a real reaction, and for others, a non-related incident.

You know, in the US, a family successfully sued the makers of an iboprofen product (don't remember if it was advil or motrin) when their daughter died after taking the product. Most likely, her death resulted from whatever caused them to give her the product, but they were convinced it was the product, and they managed to convince the jury, too.

That is very telling.

Could have also been a settlement without a jury.

It tells you alot about the wonderful justice system in this country, and that people are sometimes ignorant.

My sister learned about this case, and others like it, in a course on medical malpractice in medical school.

I'll tell you another example: A woman successfully sued her OB for giving birth to a child with down's syndrome.

There is a vaccine court but the majority of cases that they see are people who have mechanical injury from the shot itself hitting a nerve or the shoulder joint or from an a severe allergic reaction or from Gillian Barre syndrome. All other cases usually have some other possible explanation so they are thrown out of vaccine court. So basically, it is entirely possible that SIDS was caused by an allergic reaction to the vaccine but since SIDS also has other possibilities such as suffocation, the vaccine court won't award anything. It is impossible to prove anything about autism so even if vaccines are playing a role in the development of autism, there is no way currently to prove it.

My pediatrician didn't bother checking my son's adrenal function prior to vaccinating. Why should he?
Which 10 month old suffers from adrenal fatigue?

After getting vaccinated at 10 months (we had delayed until then due to my illness), My son fell back on the milestone charts enough to qualify for ei therapy services, and took a full month to recover back to baseline. After he recovered completely, I tried speaking to the Doctor, who didn't even want to hear what I had to say. We did another round of vaccines after he recovered, and again, he fell back on the milestone charts. Thank god, after a month, he recovered, back to typically developing child.

I took him to a specialist who diagnosed him, and told me that I was lucky he recovered, and that my child can NOT be vaccinated until his adrenals are functioning normally, or he will lose all frontal lobe functioning.

I stopped vaccinating him, and worked to fix his adrenals. Only recently was he able to be brought up to date.

Not everyone has access to this kind of care. Not everyone can know which specialist can help their child. My child and I are lucky that we were able to get to the bottom of it all.

Please stop judging moms who are honestly trying to protect their children.

And I heard of a man who ran a red light, crashed into a ferrari and sued the owner because the ferrari was too beautiful and green so it confused him and he thought the light was green. He was awarded money.

Chayalle, do you know any more about the second case? Did the dr neglect to test for it or mix up the tests and she would have aborted or something ? That's so weird.

Ha. If only it were that simple. I read about a case like this. People aren't as crazy as you make them out to be. The case involved an OB who failed to test for - or failed to properly interpret test results of - Down Syndrome, and the parent would have aborted had they had that knowledge. I can absolutely hear that. Don't forget this is COURT where people need PROOF. It's not simply my say-so that will get me millions...

Let me preface by saying I’m not antivax. I used a delayed schedule.

Here’s my theory: The medical world (CDC ect) knows there are dangers to vaccines, but feel they are not as bad as the diseases they prevent. So they are very not upfront with us (patients and doctors-to-be in medical school) about the dangers of vaccines, because they are afraid of causing fear and then there would be mass outbreaks of disease. But this is backfiring because people are realizing they can’t trust vaccine industry.

There just too many reasons to not trust! To list a few:

There are an abundance of horrific stories of vaccine reactions. And they just keep parroting “vaccines at virtually risk-free” and claim that these stories are rare or coincidental.

The vaccine manufacturers have NO ACCOUNTABILITY because they cannot be sued. Even medication manufacturers can be sued! Any industry can become corrupt if there are no consequences. Pediatricians can’t be sued over vaccine injury either, so they have less reason to do their own research on safety.

They give hep b to newborn babies in the hospital. ( with toxic amounts of aluminum) Hep b is spread through sharing drug needles and “sleeping around” so why do they give it to newborns? In case the mother has hep b and will pass it on. BUT EVERY OBGYN TESTS MOTHERS FOR HEP B. They inoculate every newborn just a precaution for the fringe cases where the mother didn’t get proper prenatal care. Why don’t they tell us this??

Most doctors will tell you there are no vaccines with thimerisol (Mercury) anymore. Did you know that the multi dose flu vaccine still does?

I’ll stop here.
