Why work for the same place for so long and not give yourself the opportunity to grow and experience new things? --from someone who wishes she could switch jobs every 1-2 years, I just don't see the benefit of this anymore.

I never found anything better, always needed the money and am a real stick it out kind of person, meaning even when the going gets rough, I'll somehow ride it thru.

I started as basic secretary position and now I'm more of a project manager.
I started at very basic pay by the hour, which increased slowly over the years and now BH get a salary.

I understand the OP. I've been at my job for 9 years and I hope to stay there forever. I love my job and the people I work with. The grass isn't always greener.
