Id like to hear what others have to say about GHI CBP - EmblemHealth.
Pros and cons.
Now is the time to switch health insurance.
Now I have HIP and need referrals for something like an Xray. I was told that with GHI CBP - EmblemHealth you dont need referrals.

I have GHI CBP. I never needed a referral.
I don't really know about other health insurances, so I don't know if I could answer you. The thing is, basically everyone I know in the DOE has GHI/Emblem Health and not the HIP HMO.
I recently had an experience where I feel that my insurance's policy is ridiculous, but I don't know if it's really that different than other insurances.
Overall, I'd say it's decent, but not great.
