I also never understood the importance of a yearbook, it's so expensive and most girl's don't need it. My kids school stopped doing a yearbook they only do the professional, individual and class pictures. The girls will usually make themselves a yearbook on Shutterfly for about $30.

I havent read all the responses, but knowing what I know about schools, no matter how wealthy the teacher is, this isnt coming from her.
Shes getting BIG pressure from the administration to bring in lot$a moooolah.

This is terrible and wrong... However, I feel for your dd and this should not be a stress in her life.. no school or teacher is perfect.. it is what it is. I will gladly loan you the money asap. and you could pay back when you have it .. no worries. How do I contact Yael to give my info.. beats me... Anyone?

Amother, thank you for the empathy but please do not send me money. I posted this to vent, not to solicit money! I see no reason for Yael to look up my username. I chuckled at naturalmom's GoFundMe suggestion, but this is not what I had in mind. I know it's coming from a good place so please don't take offense.
