ra_mom, thanks! I would prefer something cheaper. 3 years ago I got links here on imamother to boots for $22. They came with such warm inserts which we used the first year and half and as their feet grew, I removed the insert. My kids used those boots for 3 winters! And still in great condition - I'm passing on from one kid to the next but I need new ones for the next gender kid.

I just checked my amazon history. These are what I bought then.
As you can see, they're now double the price!

I think I remember such boots on Amazon. Were they from there? Are you able to look up your purchase history and see if they're still available?

I see we posted at similar times Smile I looked up my history too since I remember buying them for my toddler as well. They weren't the best as she's sensory and didn't like wearing them without the liner.

I checked the target options. My son is too big for animals on his boots Wink

I didn't see any animals on the boys toddler link I posted above, only a geo design.
Not on these boots either, which are for older boys sizes.

The animals are on the girls boots and they're really cute, but also come in different colors for girls with dot and star versions.

I just ordered these for my 6 year old. They’re a little more than $15-$17, but they look like they will be very warm

Out of my son's size, and the size above. Sad Anything else?

These look too bulky and I don't like the colors they come in. I doubt my son would wear something like this.

Anyone has experience with Landsend boots? They're currently on sale for $30 which is way more than I want to spend but considering that it's guaranteed...? Anyone?

Want to post a link? We once ordered a pair for dd and they were very heavy and bulky.

They look great. Not as bulky as the ones we bought years ago.

FWIW, I ordered them in addition to one girl's pair from Target. With the snow this week, I was caught off guard and now I just want to have them already to be prepared when the next snow comes.

The price also doubled! I used to buy these for as little as $15. I've bought them for quite a few seasons. I've only stopped buying them because my older kids want something more stylish, so we just end up buying locally.

The Lands End boots are no good: for DD they're too small, and for DS - well, he doesn't like them because they are too short and the leg part isn't tight enough on him, whatever. Banging head

The Target ones might be good for DD but they're really not warm. They're almost like rain boots with some fabric on the inside.

So we're back to square one. Any more links?
