Over the weekend, the preschool morah texted that a child has hand/foot/mouth. On Monday a two more kids got sick.
I've kept my son home since Monday as I don't want him to catch anything.
How long should I keep him home? I don't want him to get it and give it to our baby ch"v

My kids had it. It was a miserable few weeks but it's not life threatening and no complications. I wouldn't stress so much about it. He'll pick it up eventually.
Of course I'm assuming he's normally healthy

hand foot and mouth can be very dangerous for someone who is pregnant - so if there's any chance you might be, and you don't know if you've had it before, talk to your doctor.

I don’t think you are correct. Fifths disease (which also presents with a rash) is the one that is dangerous to a fetus.

I called my doctor. He said it can be contagious in stool for up to a month. He said he wouldn't keep his own kid home.
I was hoping to get some wise advice from the imas on this board.
