If I make a potato kugel tonight that I want to be served on Shabbat day, how do I go about it?
Do I cook it fully and freeze it, but then when do I defrost it?
In-laws coming over so would like it to be as yum as possible.
Please guide me!

You can bake it today. Then refrigerate and put it in the oven before shabbos at 200 F with some water on top, and let it stay there until you're ready to serve the next day.

I can't use my oven on Shabbat what if I just put it on the Plata Shabbat morning?

That's what we do, we wrap it in foil and put it inside the crockpot or pot of Cholent on the top of the Cholent .

It's wonderful to have fresh kugel, but if we would only have kugel if I made it erev Shabbos...we'd seldom have kugel. I've made it as early as Wed. and kept it in the fridge till Shabbos. If I make it earlier I freeze it.

Thank you everyone for your responses! I'm going to put it in the fridge and put it in the cholent over Shabbat.

You can wrap it in parchment paper before you put it in the cholent.

Yes! I do it every week. I put a 7 inch round Kugel fully in parchment and take it out shabbos day with a spatula/flipper.
