Was feeling all organized and put up supper last night for today.

Took the baked ziti out of the open to cool, but never made it to the fridge Crying Crying

Is it still safe to eat if I put it in the fridge in the morning?

Yes. Baked ziti is one of the few foods where I wouldn't bat an eyelash if it was left out overnight. Not longer, though; it will start to mold after a day outside.

Thanks for these (2 opposite!) replies.

It is just hard cheese, sauce and pasta. No ricotta or cottage cheese. Does that make it different?

If the temperature in my kitchen was cold, I'd probably still serve it to family members who didn't mind. If it was warm/hot, I'd probably toss it.

I would advise you to feed it to a neighbor's chicken... :-)
BTW why was this post I quoted posted anonymously?

The lack of ricotta makes it better. Salt, sugar and acid are all preservatives. Pizza keeps til it molds too
