Random question. But I met someone who is an ambulance driver in Israel, and they told me how it’s a very well paying job with good benefits and retirement. He told us that jobs like bus drivers, garbage collectors, ambulance drivers are good solid jobs in Israel.
I’m just asking because we’ve been toying with Aliyah for years and wondering if these kind of jobs are really as financially secure as he seems to imply and if so, are they very hard to get. Thank you so much!

An ambulance crew hs four members. The driver is the most experienced and in charge. Often sone of the other EMTs are volunteers with variable levels of experience.

2nd hand info, but I heard that paramedics in Israel get about 3/4 a nurse's salary.
