Here’s the story: I am an accountant and the company I worked for shut down pretty suddenly. I am receiving unemployment now and my husband works so we Bh can make ends meet. I get about 66 percent unemployment of my past paycheck. I got a job offer doing bookkeeping type work for about the same much I was making in the past, but the job is much faster paced and dealing with investors etc so it’s a whole new concept. I am also due right before Pesach so not sure if it makes sense to take this job or wait till a better more flexible part time type job comes up? I have other kids at home on school schedule so it’s challenging to get take a new job and then not be able to be home for their vacations etc

things to keep in mind:
how long will unemployment last?
if you take the job now, will you be eligible for short term disability? what about FLMA?
