This is a short Poem I wrote about Chanukah
It is in Hebrew- I hope that's fine :3
(I worte it in the structure of a limeric, although it is a serious & deep poem)
שעון חורף, חושך וקור
עיתים קשה לדמיין את האור
ואז בא חנוכה
ומיד תוך דקה
הכל מואר כמו עם שמן טהור

First of all, hi! You're new here!
The poem is a really nice Hebrew limerick. It's unusual to see a limerick that is not silly. Maybe it's because it's not in English.

Winter clock dark and cold
Times it is hard to imagine the light
And then comes chanuka
And immediately within a minute
Everything is lit like with pure oil

Hebrew poetry is really hard to translate, the words are so distinctive.

Most limericks are humorous, but I like writing deep or serius ones.
Here is another one - about Shabbat:
יהודים לאורך כל השנים
שיר הלל וזימרה לך שרים
כמה טוב שבאת
המלכה, זו השבת
את כמו מטען של כוחות אדירים
