I bought an x-large chenille snood in royal blue. I loved the color when I bought it, but numerous people have told me it doesn't suit me. (My husband said my head looks like it's glowing in the dark😜.) Anyway I would like to dye it black so that at least I can match it with more clothing. Is there anywhere in Lakewood I can take it to have this done?

It would probably cost more to dye it than to buy a new one.
You can dye it yourself using Rit powder and following box instructions, but not all materials hold dye so it's a gamble.

Is Rit meant to be permanent? I've used it twice before and it washed right out, though I don't remember what fabric that was.

You should buy dye and just do it yourself- it’s easy enough!

Would love to. Do you know what kind of dye would work? Rit doesn't seem to hold.

There are different types of rit dye. Make sure you buy the one that says fabric dye- not all purpose dye.

Royal blue is my favorite color in the world! (Alongside burgundy.) And in chenille it has an especially beautiful shimmer. But somehow, on my head....
