My 18 month old son came home yesterday with a number of scratches on his face  He has a teddy bear he is very attached to and it seems some other kids try to take it away from him. The Morah is very devoted and told us she noticed it and is on top of it ect…. My question is what can I do for the future? As much as I keep telling him "your teddy is only yours not for anyone else (and I name other kids in the group I.e. not for Yehuda, Malka, Reuvain ect.) Not sending it isn't an option because he wont sleep without it...

He should use it for sleeping only.

Ask teacher to hide it until napping. Do allow him to share. He's trying to please you, thus hurting himself

1. Why can't he share the teddy with the other children?
2. Can he use the teddy just for sleeping?
3. Why is this resulting in scratches?
