My 12yo DD is extremely picky & limited in what she is willing to eat.
At her recent well visit one of the ideas was to add protein powder to some baked goods to give her the protein she is lacking from her diet.
I need suggestions of a good kosher pareve protein powder.
We are not looking to make shakes (although I might add some to a smoothie or a coffee, occasionally). We want to add it to cookies/muffins/etc without compromising their taste.
Also, any guidance on how to add it to my recipes would be greatly appreciated!
(Anon because I’m asking lots of people irl, too)

I tried afew brands already and they all taste horrible. I felt even a tiny drop, they all made me gag. But I think shaklee was the best.

Thanks! How did you use them? (in shakes, in baked goods?)
And can you tell me what other brands you tried?

Most protein powder tastes pretty bad. I've tried hemp, soy, pea .... the whey is actually the best-tasting.
I'd be happy to send you a baggie of the 2 I'm using right now. Of course, you wouldn't be anonymous then.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I’ll decline. I just ordered the Nutiva hemp protein that someone recommended on another thread. I guess we’ll see what happens.
Any suggestions on recipes (baked goods) to use it in?

No, I can’t. Their school is nut and peanut free. My goal is to make something she could take for a quick breakfast/snack/lunch which means it has to be able to go to school.

What about adding plain Greek yogurt? Lots of protein, just a bit of tangy taste and adds moisture.

I've used hemp in fruit smoothies. I find that a banana masks the taste best.
I also found recipes online for chocolate cake/cupcakes. only eat I fresh out of the oven.
