Are there any advantages or disadvantages to flying in to Chicago Midway as opposed to O'hare?
What is the travel distance from each airport to West Rogers park?

Chicago Midway is 45-60 minutes from the neighborhood as opposed to 25-30. It largely depends on traffic but you can go to Ohare with using mainly Devon vs. Midway you need the highway which is more likely to be backed up. A taxi will cost you about double.

Taxis from Midway are insanely expensive.
One time the taxi fare was more than the plane fare.

Midway is a smaller, nicer, more cozy sort of airport. Ohare can be a confusing huge honking mess if you're not used to it. They are both perfectly fine though, so really whatever's cheaper or more convenient (more people use Ohare of course--there are more flights going in and out).
The real difference is if you want to fly Southwest; they only do MDW (or MKE if you want a nice long drive).
