Someone gave me a shoulder roast and I've never made it before. The only recipes I've been able to find have been dry roasted, and I've messed up every time I tried roasting meat. I do best with recipes that have a lot of liquid where you leave the meat in the oven for a long time and it just gets softer, and is really hard to mess up. Does anyone have a recipe like that for shoulder roast? Does it even work with this cut of meat?
