Depends on which Chassidis. If you're Bobov Peshy and Pia are more common or heard of, but that doesn't mean if you're Pupa you should be made fun of. Kids do what they are taught and for some reason naming in frum circles (not just chassidish) is such a major issue and ppl are constantly demeaning unusual names.

Peshy is actually a Pupa name!
I've never heard of a girl named Pia, chassidish or not.

But why? Because people as parents cannot teach their children to behave? I'm not getting this. Raise your kids right rather than concern over what other people name their children.
