Another vote for YBCs Daddy Come Home. It came out when my father had to be away for a few months as a teen and I cried every time I listed to it it still brings back those memories.

I love energetic Broadway show tunes sung by feisty heroines. I know that’s not what you want to hear, but I find most frum songs in English either revoltingly maudlin or nauseatingly syrupy.

I’m in my 9th month bshaa Tovah and EVERYTHING makes me cry. But outside of that Deaf Man in the Shteeble by Lev Tahor which I listen to every sefira and 3 weeks. My husband thinks it’s hilarious that this song never fails to turn on my water works 😂 I forgot Shwekey’s Shema Yisrael, that one also gets me going. London Girls Choir “Little Bird”: I was single until 31 and this one made me bawl like a baby during those years

My 4.5 year old is obsessed with Daddy Come Home and loves to listen to it and get emotional. Don’t know if this is weird.....
