I just typed up a long post, hit submit but don't see my post, where did it go?

You may not have hit submit. Are you on a phone or a computer? When I post by phone, I have to hit “done” and “submit”, otherwise my post vanishes.

Also if you hit the “back” arrow too soon to return to the topic or the topic list, you will be effectively leaving the page before your post has a chance to be transmitted. This will also make your post evaporate.
