My ten month old has been eating solids a lot for the last couple months. Since Monday he has basically been picking at his food and today he won't nurse! He only takes formula bottles. I'm about 6 weeks pregnant, does that mean I've lost my milk and that's it for nursing him? I really love nursing him, I'd be really disappointed for it to end abruptly.

I found out I was pregnant when my babies stopped nursing. The taste of the milk changes.

Is he teething? If his gums are sore he may not want to latch, and finds a bottle to me much less painful.
I also think your milk is probably changing because of the new baby on the way.

That's so disappointing 
I was hoping to nurse at least til 14 months or so. Can't believe it's over before I had time to process.
He could be teething but I can't see in his mouth since he bites me whenever I try and he has a lot of teeth.

Check his ears. My baby used to refuse to nurse every time he had an ear infection.

It's day 3 and no change 😕.
The lactation consultant at the Dr office didn't call back yet so I'm basically stuck. He drinks my pumped milk in a bottle so I don't think the taste of my milk was affected at all. But is there any hope of getting through this and him nursing again if only a little? Just want to know if I should bother trying

I hear your disappointment but in my experience I think it's still easier when the kid stops on there own than weaning.
