I am trying to plan a trip to Italy in the summer and we are thinking of going to Venice and then would really like to try and escape the crowds and go to the countryside. The more beautiful the better.
Does anyone know of any kosher hotel options in the mountains? If not, has anyone ever gone to a regular lodge and self catered? I’ve never been to Italy and am not familiar with the kosher food scene and how easy it would be to shop and prepare our own meals...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the replies! I will explore those links. So is it proabably not a realistic option to self cater?
I just know that time of year the major cities are going to be hot and crowded and we would really like to offset some of that with some days in the country.
