You've never seen 2 sinks not next to each other?

I have two sinks but with a shared faucet. I hate it. When I can afford to, I intend to make certain upgrades to my kitchen that include two separate sinks.

I just moved into an apartment that was designed by a frum person. I have two sinks, separate faucets. Stainless steel sinks, and kasherable countertops, so not so much work for Pesach.

The shower area and toilet are separate, so the sink for the toilet is in the hallway. That way you can make a bracha without being in the same room as the toilet. It's also right next to the bedrooms, so if you hold that you can take more than 4 steps to get to negel vasser it's really convenient.

(My fuse box also has a Shabbos timer in it, but I have no idea how to use it and I don't want to mess with it.)

We have a Shabbos elevator mode, too. I LOVE LIVING IN ISRAEL!!!

I love shabbes elevator! Many of my Israeli relatives have only a regular, or no Sad

I have always had the sink in a bathroom and the toilet alone.

FF, can you get a neighbor to show you how to use it? It's really not complicated and it's so convenient to be able to use it.

I agree with what everyone is saying. You can manage with one sink but definitely go with two sinks if you have the chance. It makes things so much easier! And also- that apartment with the shabbas elevator and separate sink sounds amazing!

I have two sinks side by side with an upright divider between the two. Works well. Kitchen isn't large enough for it to be done differently.
