Someone I know called me about a chabad that she is close to that is advertising for a halachically accepted surrogates for couples with severe infertility. The woman must be 45 or under. Keep kosher, and I believe not currently married. They will pay all the medical expenses and generous financial compensation. The person will also be performing a substantial mitzvah. Please telephone them from 7 am to 10 pm at 347-570-3107.

This is in America? And I assume the woman has to be Jewish? (asking because I know someone who might be interested, but she's still in the process of conversion.)

Yes. She must be Jewish. But you can call them if/when the conversion is done
