Studies have shown that moms emotions during pregnancy affect baby, and I read in Jewish pregnancy book that sefarim say so too. Question - I thought baby has malach teaching him torah and that he can see with full clarity from one end of world to next... How would emotions affect him if he knows the whole torah and in general has full clarity about everything- wouldn't that make him way above being affected by emotions? Along that note why does mom have to be careful not to look at wild animals when expecting- isnt the child busy with a malach who is beyond holy...you get my drift

I'm not posek nor learned person, but emotions cause hormonal changes in a body, and while in YOUR body, that will affect his/her body, even though they are learning and seeped in holiness.

None of what you wrote has any impact on the unique way each child's body and brain develops in utero. Otherwise everyone in the world would be clones of one another.

This is based on the western (mistaken) idea that emotions are inferior to logic and have no beneficial purpose, I.e. if the someone has perfect clarity and logic they will not be affected by emotions and that’s a good thing.
Truth is they must operate together and balance each other out.
Emotions without logic: tyranny like Achashverosh, where you order your wife to death in a fit of anger.
Logic without emotion: cold calculating Hitler—the cost of living for the disabled is more than the productivity they will provide for the country, therefore let’s kill them.

I liked what you wrote. Yes, logic and emotions are intertwined.
And the torah has both.
Some say that כפה עליהם הר כגיגית means that Hashem "opened up" the whole torah to them. When they saw/felt/understood the torah, with senses that we cannot understand, there was no way for them to say no to it.
