yaharog, counted four pages, only a few of which were made of posts of me pointing out the error.

Well it is a correct way to say something else, just not what they want to say.

How is a lot not already on this list?

I am so surprised every time I come across alot. It is even worse when in an effort to stress their point it becomes ALOT.

Strept. I cannot figure out where this comes from. It's such a common error (and I think most people don't realize that strep is short for streptococcus, so why do so many people call it that?!?)

If you can shorten streptococcus to strep, who says you can't shorten it a bit less and include that "t"? I never understood why people get up in arms about others who use non-words differently. Abbreviations aren't official; you can shorten long word however you want!

I could care less.

No. Nonononono. N.O. THATS NOT CORRECT. It should be "I COULDN'T care less".

Because in the medical world, its known as “strep throat ”. Not “strept throat”. Google strept throat. Its not simply an abbreviation, its a common name for an illness. Strept is literally incorrect. Strep is actually official.

People who say/write shaloshudiss are not mispronouncing/misspelling Seuda shlishit....the term they don’t realize they’re butchering is Shalosh Seudos.
