I'm going to Antwerp for a family Simcha. What is there to do during the day? Is there good sales now on in the shops in town? Is it worth going to the zoo with 2 teenagers?

Look around the diamond district.

I think my husband did a sewer tour there. He said it was good.

There is a mini Europe in Brussels.

Lots to do, zoo, chocolate museum, bus tour, lots of places to eat, sales in most of the shops in town. Google what to do in antwerp, there is a lot to choose from.

If you have time to head to holland
קברי צדיקים in holland
Anne frank house
Brugge
In antwerp there is nice maritime museum can’t remember the name (maybe Steen)
Take a walk on kaserlei one day that’s the shoping district
And there is Fort Breendick in Willebroek , which used to be a concentration camp

Brugge is NOT in Holland
It’s a gorgeous place and definitely worth the trip. It’s not as much travel time as holland.
Dinant is fascinating, lots of history and there are also beautiful caves to explore nearby.
The zoo is close by and makes for a great day trip for the whole family.
If you do head to holland kids of all ages would love Efteling, it’s a bit expensive to get in though.
Amsterdam is a fascinating place as well. A bit similar to brugge but bigger and obviously still a functional city while old brugge is just a tourist attraction.

Comic station only for those who know the characters. Otherwise it’s kinda mumble jumble.
