I would love to go away during midwinter vacation but it can only be motzai and Sunday. I’m coming from Brooklyn so I don’t want it to be too far. Does anyone have ideas of a nice hotel in New Jersey with a fun attraction near by? Kids ages 3 to 11

Cherry Hill has kosher restaurants, isn't far from Brooklyn, and has great activities in nearby Philly (Franklin Institute, mint, Eastern State Penitentiary), Camden Aquarium, and indoor water parks at CoCo Key and Sahara Sam's.

The Marriott in Teaneck NJ. You can use their affiliated pool/spa facilities when you stay there, Campgaw snow tubing (also mini skiing and snow boarding options) is a 15 minute drive (book in advance), and there are many restaurants in Teaneck.

Just curious (for my own info)
Would some of you stay at a 2.5 star hotel?
Yes
Absolutely not
Maybe
It's so much easier to find those for affordable price. Would love to take my kids someplace

In general I would not, because they can be really run down and disgusting, and often attract an unsafe element. If you're considering one, at least check its reviews on TripAdvisor and only go to one that consistently gets positive reviews.

No. But I would stay in a lower scale Days Inn.
