Especially if the office manager actually hires, trains, and supervises direct-report (offically or not) admin staff and leads significant office admin efforts, like selecting space and negotiating rent, selecting and negotiating with vendors, procuring temps, etc.
In some places the "office manager" is just a glorified receptionist who orders office supplies, but in other companies the job can entail major responsibilities for both personnel and $$. The latter usually entails more than 35-40 hours though. |
That is Management you are describing not an office manager.

Are you serious? 90k? Not unless you happen to find some fancy office in Manhattan. Did you ever have a job that paid this much?
Technically the basic job description of "office manager" doesn't require a degree, unless you mean upper management.
OP, If you're truly serious about finding a job, drop the"I'm willing to work 35-40 hours". You're probably making employers feel like you're doing them a favor and nobody wants a person like that. If you're going to job interviews quoting a number like that you'll be out of a job for some time. Be flexible. Show you're willing to hear them out.
