I'm thinking of doing P3, can anyone tell me how much they make per session, one on one and/ in groups? Also, are the sessions 45 minutes, or an hour? TIA!

You bill the DOE by the hour.
1 child $41.98/hour, group of 2 $62.96/hour... The rate drops per child when there's more kids in the group.

If you're going through an agency they take a cut. Many give $30 per session.

Enhanced rate cases pay more but as long as people still keep accepting these peanut rates the DOE is not inclined to approve enhanced rate. But it has been known to happen. Certain agencies work specifically with such cases. In these, pay is more similar to SEIT, think in the 60-75 range.

If parent can't get a provider at the doe rate, they can request an enhanced rate to help them find one. The base rate is a joke so it would be nice if more cases were approved for this, but as long as you have people willing to work for agencies at $25 an hour it's pretty hard to make that case. What other professional masters level job pays $25 an hour with no benefits and no sick days? Why does anyone take these jobs?!

Do providers that get the enhanced rate work only for enhanced rate? Or can they also work at regular rate with some students?

And because they are self employed, they pay double social security as well and no unemployment benefits

I’m currently working in Brooklyn for an agency. It’s about 37 and hour for one kid but about 50 an hour for enhanced. P3 connect has a lot of after school cases. You can call to be put on their email list to hear about new cases

Wow. That is a significant difference. Do they require more paperwork?

I think the PD is very valuable in itself. But yes they are somewhat more rigorous in their requirements overall. After all there is a reason their clients qualify for enhanced rate. If you get an enhanced rate then you need to provide enhanced service.

Dont go through an agency. I did for years, they gave groups and paid much less than you would get going alone.
