Our washing machine needs to be replaced. Right now we have a dryer stacked on top of it, which is working well and we don't plan to replace. At the appliance store we were told that we can't stack two different brands, but when I searched online I saw that many people have figured out how to make it work. My dh is very handy, so if it can be done he can do it himself. There are very limited options in our brand (Maytag) and we're on a very tight budget besides.
Just wondering if anyone here has tried it and can tell me how it went?

Is it possible for your husband to build a shelf/table on 4 legs for your dryer ? This way they aren't directly stacked ?
