so when you'r fed up with childrearing, you think it's easier to do cowrearing! Until you get kicked in the rear while milking her.

not to mention getting pooped on the head or pished on......I'll stick to cartons of milk and child (not cow) rearing. Less stress! Very Happy

Bringing this back up because I stumbled upon this and it was hillarious!
Reminded me of someting my SIL just told me.
They are expecting their first baby. They have recently started raising cattle. She said when they went for their first doctors visit and the doctor discussed nursing with them her DH related everything to a cow.
Wanted to know why you would ever supplement with formula etc. Can you just get some extra out? Like you do with a cow etc ? SIL said she wanted to crawl under the table.

I was so happy to see this thread brought back - I had just been thinking earlier today that we haven't had any side-splittingly funny threads in a while and I was wondering if I was going to have to wait until Adar.

And on the topic, here is a conversation I had with 6 yo dd after she came back from a field trip to a farm a few wks ago:

DD: ...and I milked a cow...
Me (totally randomly of me - just thought it would be good-motherly of me to show extra interest by asking questions): What color was the cow?
DD: White.
Me: All white?
DD: Yeah.
Me: (Thinking - I don't think I've ever heard of a cow that was ALL white. Whatever.)
DD: Do you know what it's called in Hebrew?
Me: What?
DD: A 'kivsa'.
Me: Oh! It was a sheep!
DD: NO!!! IT WAS A COW!!!
Me (as the wise mother I am starting to become): Oh.

Get kicked in the REAR while milking? That's one professional contortionist I'd love to watch!
