I saw bins and containers in Bingo labelled "fruit tea". Some looked like chopped up fruit, some looked like ground up spices. How do I use these? Do I need to put them into little net bags to put into hot water? Can I put them in loose? Where do I get such bags? Do they taste amazing?

It’s just loose herbal tea. You can spoon it into a cup, add boiling water, let steep and either wait till the solids settle before drinking or pour the whole thing through a strainer. Or invest in a little metal tea infuser. These either look like two hemispherical strainers hinged together, or resemble a pierced double-sided spoon. You can find them in shops that sell coffees and teas or in kitchenware shops.
Or you can get really ridiculously “sophisticated” and buy a tea infusion set consisting of a pierced ceramic basket that sits inside a matching teapot and lets you pour off the tea while the solids remain in the basket.
