I love idea of thing 1 and thing 2. I think I saw onesies on Amazon for ketchup and mustard.

That's so cute! And Purim is close enough to shabbos that you can give challah etc.
You want them to be comfortable. So they can wear white stretchies (or white top and gray/silver leggings for the candle stick) and a hat with a felt flame.
