We're doing outdoor family pics soon. I found tops for my girls in the same shade (different designs). But for my boy, I could only find a similar but different shade. Is it better to go with a similar but slightly 'off' shade, or completely different?
Likely there will be mostly separate shots (my kids dont pose well together) but presented in the same set of frames

As a photographer I always recommend corrdinating rather than matchy - matchy.
In your case I'd say- go for white with boys maybe. And add accessories in color of girls sweaters.
Hard to say without seeing what you're referring to.
