I am looking for the best detergent. Best, in my mind, means affordable, works well by removing stains without leaving any residue or color marks, and smells nice.
I've been using Purex until now but recently bought Tide and I love the smell of Tide. However, I can't seem to figure out the most inexpensive place to buy it. Anyone know?
Any other detergents I should try?

I've been using tide for years and like the quality and smell of it.
The cheapest store I came across is Walmart

I only like Tide. It’s the only detergent that actually cleans my kids clothes. I buy in Costco but Walmart and Target are also pretty cheap.

I’m allergic to almost everything but sunlight lemon. I don’t like unscented because when I don’t fold right away, it’s good to have a bit of scent. I also love oxyclean clean powder as a laundry booster. Even with disgusting moody rags, that combination means no smelly mildew grossness.

I've been using Tide with Bleach Alternative for years. Recently, they've changed it's pleasent scent to something really less than desirable. Have any of you who've used this variety of Tide noticed it also?
