Are you required to give maaser from money that you make from using cashback sites such as Ebates.com or [deleted]? I will ask my LOR, was just curious if others had this question.
If you would like you can sign up to these sites below, and you too can be earning cashback just for shopping online! I will get a bonus and so will you.

I look at it as a coupon off what I have purchased as opposed to money I am actually making.
Additionally, you want to make sure the rov you ask, actually understands how these things work.

OP here... I asked my LOR and they said that no, one is NOT required to give maaser from money earned as cash-back. Its considered like a coupon, which lowers the price of the goods/services purchased.

It was a real question! I just figured that if someone never heard of these sites and they wanted to check it out and perhaps sign up, then why not post my referral links. But it was a real honest question, and I did ask my LOR.
