Simcha2, a toddler can climb out of a big crib or bed as well, so it's not really a factor.

Usually porta cribs are not as sturdy as a regular crib so if they are starting to climb out of it I would definitely not have a toddler sleep in a porta crib.

Once they can climb out of any crib you should move them to a bed. (They can get hurt if they fall when climbing out).
