Any ideas of what to do with a few teenage girls in Manhattan this week?
I wanted to take them to the virtual reality place but I have a 2 year old and they don’t let in anyone under 7 years old.
I was thinking maybe the optical illusion place but I don’t think that will be a long day so looking for something else nearby or for a different idea.
Thanks

Now that it's not so freezing, I'd go ice skating in Bryant Park, which has several kosher restaurants nearby. If you want something indoors, look into Gulliver's Gate or Spyscape or Color Factory.

You hang out nearby? I have done that when my kids did the 9/11 memorial.

Went to Optical Illusion with my girls. Finished the place in a 1/2 hour and then walked to 5th Ave for shopping. IMO, not worth it. Did it once, would not go again. Great for photo ops so if you do go, a Camera is a must.

Last year I took them to Gullivers gate and we enjoyed that much more. Besides its near Times Square so theres more tourist attractions in that Area. You can go to Ripleys Believe or Not, which is near Dave & Busters. Disney Store is in that Area too.

A few years back, I took them for a Carriage Ride & Ice Skating in Central Park. Walking Down 5th ave, tons of stores like Uniqlo, Zara & H&M. Always can try Rockfeller center and go to Top of The Rock, which I found to be less crowded then The Empire State Building.

I did the optical illusion recently and we enjoyed it. There is a KGB musuem that just opened across the ave but I dont know anything about it. You can also go to Samsung 837 which is also in the area and is similiar to virtual reality and its free.

If your girls liked Harry Potter, there is currently an amazing exhibit on it at the New York Historical Society, on the upper west side. There are tons of kosher places to et nearby.

Can you just walk into Samsung or you need a time slot?

You can just walk in. I believe they're open until 9 pm. And btw, they are not reachable by phone.

Not OP, but curious about Samsung - How long do you spend there? What exactly do you do? What ages is it for? Are there times that it's less likely to be crowded?
