YT is later on this year so I'm unsure what to shop for. do I need long sleeve stuff or can I shop real summer already?

It’s still April which is generally long sleeve weather. In NY if you don’t buy your kids summer clothing before pesach or really before Purim the stores run out. Personally I buy my kids summer shabbos clothing before pesach and if it’s warm enough they can wear it and if not they’ll wear winter.

We never wear summer clothes on pesach.

They usually wear think long on Pesach. Short sleeve weather is usually Lag Baomer time or even later. You can do short sleeves and add a cardigan on top.

I don't remember the last time we had short sleeve weather pesach in the tri state. The past few years was cold, rainy, and snowy.

this is great. so I don't have to go crazy shopping for 4 days summer clothes.
